You're imperfect, and you're wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.

Brené Brown

Are you and/or your child tired of feeling exhausted, stressed out, irritable, worried, unfocused and sad? Are you tired of talking about WHY you or your child feel this way and want to do something NOW to get on the path to being healthy and well? Learning skills and strategies to recognize and manage emotional, physical and psychological challenges will get you started on that path.

I focus specifically on helping teens, emerging adults (18-26) and adults learn skills and strategies to manage concerns such as anxiety, depression, life and relationship transitions and negative self image.  I have developed specific skills to support people with the grief that comes with the loss of loved one, a relationship, a job, or a dream.

My practice offers many unique options to you including early morning and evening hours, online scheduling, and text reminders. In addition, because emergencies aren't planned, I offer phone consultations between appointments and walk in hours. Call or contact me using the form below to get started on feeling better NOW.

SPECIALTIES

My goal is to empower clients to reach the goal they set for improving their mood, changing unhealthy behaviors and improving their overall health and wellness.

My prior experience includes working in a community- based crisis intervention team, K-12 school social work and college counseling. In addition to being a therapist, I'm a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor in Adult, Fire/EMS, and Higher Education modules.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our dog Leia. I also love to read, garden, practice yoga and work with newly arrived refugees resettling in our area.
